The Oracle of Aotearoa Speaks

“Use the fire of will to banish distress
Where resistance is found see an empowering process.

The essential and required is where strength is due
Greater effort and patience is yours to get through.

Escape and seek comfort and you’ll miss an essential feature
Sometimes pain and limitation is the greatest teacher

Exercise constraint and do what is to be done
Weaving true strength as life’s lessons are spun.”

Weekly Oracle

Overcome obstacles

Energies on the tides of power that require persistence and effort come into play this week and you will need to be steadfast if you wish to move beyond limiting constraints in consciousness. Hard work will pay off in the long run, so have your goal firmly set in mind. There are certain tasks that need to be done and responsibilities that must be met – the term ‘short term pain for long term gain’ will help put things in perspective as the forces of Ahi make their influence felt.

This week is an opportunity to develop your will and resilience and work patiently against the resistance you may meet. This can extend to your own spiritual development and inner change as the obstacles in our path often bring with them the opportunity for personal growth. The secret to working with constraint is to realise it is the perfect time to harness your will power and ‘inner fire’ which in turn brings possibilities for increased inner strength and growth. Being fully present on the path you are walking and containing the ‘inner fire’ rather than dissipating it with reactionary behaviours or attitudes enables you to direct this energy where it is needed.

Meet the inevitable with a positive attitude and look to solutions rather than problems. Your skill and aptitude in problem solving will come in very useful this week.

Ahi – Fire

This week’s oracle card from The Fairy Oracle of the Patupaiarehe© carries the powerful symbol of Ahi – Fire and links you into creative tension and inner strength. Work with this card as a magically potent talisman by carrying it with you, meditating on it or placing it on your desk or altar.

Written in the Stars

Aries Full Moon Intensity

The week begins with the powerful Aries Full Moon on Monday 14th October which has a high degree of intensity and will bring the spotlight on underlying challenges you have in your life. Opposing forces such as self-assertion versus compromise or meeting your personal needs as opposed to attending to the needs of a significant other, create inner tension.

The Full Moon has a square aspect to both the planets Pluto and Saturn and this brings intense and challenging emotions to the surface which if allowed to play out haphazardly could make it difficult to connect with others in a meaningful way. Delving deeper with a little more self-control, it is an opportunity to break free from the limitations you have placed on yourself and a chance to transform and evolve. Use increased emotional strength and intuition at this time to overcome any relationship challenges and channel this energy into your greater potential and trailblaze something new and exciting into the world.
